Brass with relief decoration and wood.

The girl in the center of the lid is a depiction of the artist's daughter.

Schwemmle (1889 Lindorf – 1979 Neuenbürg) was an architect and designer.

He studied in Stuttgart and Budapest and was a member of the Deutscher Werkbund (German Association of Craftsmen).
