American Farm / Agricultural Horizon Scene - a wonderful tribute to someone proud family farm.
Huge sky, long fields, vernacular barn and farmhouse buildings - wonderful sales of green and yellow, with pops of white and red. And a wonderful sky!
36" long by 18" high by 0.5" deep.
Unframed. Artist signed and dated in lower right.
We see New England, Virginia, or East Tennessee / Western North Carolina / North Georgia - all happy places captured by this wonderful painting!

With scenes of this size and depth, in our experience it is very challenging to "get the scale right." Well - this one does...big sky, the feeling of dimension in the farm fields, the detail of the structures and trees...this is a nice work for sure.
Lovely color, a strong feeling of Americana, unusual size - this is a good one.
Canvas dimensions lend themselves to a wonderful over the bed, over the sofa, over a fine chest location, in either a lean rural vernacular style fame or a large carved gallery piece. Works either way!
