Original resin sculpture by Larry Mohr, acquired directly from the artist’s estate. This compact torso exemplifies Mohr’s modernist figurative language. The headless form focuses attention on proportion and volume rather than narrative, giving the piece a timeless, sculptural presence. The resin has a warm honey-beige tone with subtle translucency and hand-finished surface texture that evokes carved stone or polished onyx. The figure is mounted on an integral base, signed “LM,” visible in photos.
Condition is very good overall. Minor surface irregularities and tool marks are inherent to the resin casting and finish and consistent with Mohr’s studio work.
