Original oil on canvas painting of a hen and five ducklings at a pond by Danish artist Adolf Mackeprang (b. Langesø near Odense 1833, d. Frederiksberg 1911).
Condition: In need of a light surface cleaning. Cracqueluer throughout. Minor peelings. Retouches. Scuff seen toward left center, bottom edge of barrel. Canvas may benefit from stretching.
Gold frame shows age-related nicks and scrapes, separation at corners, minor pieces missing, paint touch up, etc.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this original painting.
