Exceptional pair of Maitland-Smith porcelain table lamps, circa 1985, featuring finely hand-painted Chinoiserie lotus, waterfowl, and botanical scenes. These substantial lamps, weighing over 15 lbs apiece, are mounted on heavy cast brass bases with matching brass collars, harps, and finials, giving them the weight and presence Maitland-Smith is known for.
Each lamp retains its original Maitland-Smith quality control label, confirming factory production and period authenticity. The porcelain decoration is richly colored and crisply executed, reflecting Maitland-Smith’s high standards during the 1980s. The lamps present beautifully and are offered as a true matching pair, ideal for console tables, bedside use, or flanking a buffet or credenza.
Shades are newer replacements and included for convenience.
