The table includes two large … Read more Early 20th-century Swedish Gustavian style expanding dining table crafted in pine with fluted, tapered legs. The table includes two large extension leaves, extending the length to over 10'; with one leaf installed, the table measures approximately 7.5' long.
A newer professionally applied antique white painted finish with light gray undertones has been gently distressed to complement the age and refined Gustavian style. Decorative details include applied diamond motifs above the legs and carved floral swags along the skirt.
Minor age-related cracks and scuffs are present throughout. The table has been restored, is strong and stable, and is ready for use. Due to its size and extension capacity, this is a particularly difficult table to find. Extension leaves must be stored separately when not in use.
