The base dates to the 18th century and is crafted from solid walnut, with beautifully turned bobbin legs worn smooth in all the right places from centuries of handling. The circular top is slightly newer—still antique, but added later in its life—made from wide planks that show natural wear, scattered marks, and rich tonal variation that only time can produce. The marriage feels natural and well considered, giving the table both stability and continued function while preserving its original character.
