We are selling this gorgeous 19th century American landscape painting. This landscape has luminist influence on Hudson River School roots. The painting features a view of a stunning sunset through some trees in Albany, NY. The painting is signed lower right for Asa Weston Twitchell (1820-1904). Twitchell was mostly a portrait painter local to Albany, the painting is labeled as Albany 1899 and the label calls it a Summer Sunset.
Condition: Good condition. Some damages and losses to the frame.
