The cool blues and muted earth tones capture the stillness and solitude at the coast’s edge, inviting calm and reflection. You can almost imagine the snow to be sand.
This is professional grade acrylic on a 30" high by 40" wide canvas. The edges are painted white. It's wired and ready to hang. The surface is heavily textured from previously painted over paintings and attempts (as we painters tend to do).
About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve is currently (2026) president of a well-known and respected local artists' association with over 200 members. His paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad. See less
