This is a gorgeous pair of vases and beautifully graphic! they feature a swirled outsized pattern of traditional faience motifs … Read more This is a gorgeous pair of vases and beautifully graphic! they feature a swirled outsized pattern of traditional faience motifs done in shades of blue, accented with black and golden yellow on a very pale blue ground. The interior is also glazed in pale blue. It measures 8” tall and approximately 4.1/2” in diameter. This is clearly marked on the base with the number O-95/2 BLEU DU PARIS, ROYAL ZUID-HOLLAND with the famed GOUDA Windmill logo. The ROYAL ZUID-HOLLAND Co. was in business from 1898-1965. The year date on the left side of the mark, and the artist’s mark is to the right of the “Windmill logo”. This pair are in superb condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, etc. There is gentle crazing appropriate to its age, but it is not at all disfiguring. See less
