Departing from the conventional ideal of flawless, uniform foil application, this work intentionally embraces cracks, wrinkles, and organic variations—elements traditionally considered imperfections. These natural disruptions create a powerful visual rhythm, giving the panel a solid yet living presence that feels both raw and refined.

Designed to mount flush against the wall, the panel integrates seamlessly into interior spaces, allowing the artwork to feel unified with its surroundings. Over time, the brass-toned foil and aluminum leaf naturally evolve in color and patina, making the piece an ever-changing work that continues to develop with age.

Each panel is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans in Japan. As a result, no two pieces are exactly alike, making every work a true one-of-a-kind art piece.
