An original mid-century lithograph by French artist Cartou, printed by renowned Paris master printer Charles Sorlier. The composition depicts a stylized urban street scene rendered in expressive black linework over a warm, hand-applied color ground.
The work is hand-signed and dated 1965 in pencil, with the printer’s credit “CH. SORLIER – Grav. Lith.” visible in the margin, confirming professional atelier production. The print is offered unframed, allowing for custom presentation.
The verso bears light pencil annotations and remnants of old framing tape, consistent with historical gallery or atelier handling. These have not been removed. The image itself presents cleanly and is unaffected.
