This pair of vintage Fortuny curtains are done out of the Ashanti design in gold and Ivory coloring , this design was inspired by the ancient Ashanti empire in Ouest Africa . Indeed Mariano Fortuny as a visionary artist was interested and inspired by every civilisations and used numerous of decorative elements from exotic civilisation to create his own motifs , this one is no exception , Ashanti design as a very strong modernity regardless it s age of creation and is just splendid and intricate like every Fortuny designs .The size is 112 H on 72 W each panel so large and you will find on one side of each panel an extra 9 Inch that could be used to extend the width, the back has a blackout .
