Stunning original French oil painting in the impasto technique which provides unique texture and depth created with the use of a palette knife. This scene featuring a lone fisherman under a towering tree has a high gloss finish that is eye-catching. From a collection recently acquired from a French picker, this canvas has just been reframed in a vintage custom gilt frame.
