A superb pair of sculptural "Carver" armchairs by the esteemed Swedish maker Svegards Markaryd. Produced in the 1960s, these chairs are a masterclass in Scandinavian Modernism, featuring a high-back ladder design that is very much in the style of Niels Koefoed’s iconic mid-century silhouettes.
The chairs are expertly crafted from solid teak, showcasing a rich, warm grain and refined joinery.
