A superb pair of sculptural "Carver" armchairs by the esteemed Swedish maker Svegards Markaryd. Produced in the 1960s, these chairs are a masterclass in Scandinavian Modernism, featuring a high-back ladder design and refined teak construction.
The seats have been reupholstered in a premium, heavyweight woven textile sourced from an upscale designer collection. This fabric features a sophisticated raised-thread motif in a warm oatmeal-cream palette. The weave offers a wonderful tactile depth and a subtle, light-catching sheen that beautifully complements the matte richness of the Swedish teak frames.
