An expertly restored pair of two-tier floating top side or end tables, produced by Widdicomb c. 1950s with design attributed to T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings.
The tabletops feature an uncommon combination of teak with inlaid cherry, creating a contrast between the complex and comparatively simpler grain patterns.
The frames are built from solid cherry, with stiletto-tapered legs and softly rounded edges reminiscent of Robsjohn-Gibbings' chair designs. Their dimensions are such that they can be used as nightstands as well.
Rare, collectible, and restored to showroom condition.
