The plate itself is executed in richly colored millefiori glass, with multicolored canes embedded beneath the surface to create depth, movement, and a lively visual rhythm. Resting atop the plate are 21 hand-formed Murano glass confections, each unique in form, color, and pattern, featuring classic Venetian techniques such as cane work, striping, and polka-dot decoration.
