These objects perfectly embody the Space Age/Pop Art spirit of the era, where vibrant color and pure geometric shapes were at the center of stylistic research.

Design and Architecture: The vases appear as two cylindrical monoliths (Totems) of different heights, characterized by clean, essential lines. The designer's touch of genius lies in the deep vertical groove (or recess) that runs down the side of each vase. This "subtraction" detail breaks the monotony of the cylinder, creating a sculptural play of light and shadow that lends movement and modernity to the object.

Color and Finish: The surface is glazed in a bright, glossy red, the iconic color of the 1970s. The finish is so perfect that it recalls the aesthetic of molded plastic (the primary material of the Space Age), despite being made of fine ceramic.
