They follow the 18th-century originals closely: curved lines, good proportions and careful veneer work.

The rectangular tops have floral marquetry, which is the main decorative feature. The rest is kept quite simple. The veneer has a warm colour and a nice grain, and the original brass mounts follow the outline of the cases.

The tables stand on slim cabriole legs, so they look light despite having three drawers each. They're a compact size, which makes them a good fit next to a bed, but they also work as side tables in a living room or hallway.

A matching pair, both in the same condition.
