A fine English George III bureau bookcase circa 1770. The upper case with a dentil molded cornice above mirrored doors. The lower case with a slant lid which opens to an interior fitted with small drawers and dividers flanking the prospect door. Below are 4 long drawers and the case is supported on four straight bracket feet. The desk is in very good condition with deep rich color and a pleasing patina.
