Antique Bijar Hallway Runner Wool Yellow Rug, Country of Origin: Iran / Persia, Circa Date: 1880s. This exceptional example of bijar rugs displays the characteristic heavy, durable weave for which the Kurdish weavers of the region were renowned, earning them the moniker "iron rugs" of Persia.
