Up for sale is a rare antique 19th century handmade Japanese champleve lidded urn.
It's made out of a gilded bronze base and enameled by hand with ornate detailing and rich color.
The jar has a matching lid that sits recessed over the base.
The piece is dovetailed together and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
It measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide.
There is minimal enamel loss as shown in last photos.
