I am selling this bedside table by the French designer Jacques Hittier (1917-1999).
A decorative artist associated with the École Boulle, Jacques Hittier specialized after the Second World War in creating industrial furniture for small communities and homes, which he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and the Salon des Arts Ménagers. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
