The shade is made of folded sheet metal, resulting in its distinctive shape with soft curves and a pointed dome. Just below the point, the shade features perforations around its perimeter. These primarily serve to dissipate heat but also act as a design element. The shade can be tilted to a certain angle. It is coated with a red textured lacquer. The base is black or anthracite and also has a textured finish. The curved stem is made of brass with a beautiful patina. The most striking detail of this lamp is the crow's foot base, which I have never seen in this design before.

The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
