The table has slender, tapered legs and a modest silhouette, typical characteristics of 19th-century French craftsmanship.
Over time, the warm cherry wood has acquired a beautiful patina, sheen, and subtle signs of wear, giving the table a very authentic and characteristic appearance.
This is one of those timeless pieces that you will grow to love more and more.

The table has one drawer at the end and the top can be extended (see photos).

The table legs were originally slightly shorter (the French used to be smaller\.) and we have raised them by extending them at the bottom, as you can see in the photos.

The table is in good, beautiful condition, although the top of this 150-year-old table has sagged very slightly in the middle\.
