Each lamp features a solid brass base with original aged patina, a pierced brass gallery, and a beautiful original etched amber glass banquet shade with floral motifs. The glass shades are hand-blown and acid-etched, displaying the subtle waviness and depth characteristic of genuine Victorian glass.
The lamps retain their original oil-lamp burners, later professionally converted to electric in the early to mid-20th century using a non-destructive method that preserves all original components. 1 burner style key adjuster is absent (see photographs)
The lamps were professionally modified to electric, but will need inspection before use.

Both lamps are closely matched in size (Height 28" x aprox 14" in windth), form, materials & and shade pattern, making them ideal for use as a symmetrical pair in a parlor, entryway, dining room, bedroom or any historic interior setting.
The brass exhibits a warm, natural patina consistent with age; the lamps have been gently cleaned only and not polished or refinished.
Weighing ppproximately 22 pounds each with chimney and shade. (44# for the pair)
