The artist has used a "wet-on-wet" pigment technique to wrap the globe in layers of oxidized bronze, moss green, and ethereal rose gold. The result is a finish that looks like the atmosphere of a distant planet or the deep strata of ancient earth.

The foundation is a vintage Japanese studio-turned wood globe.
