This vintage credenza was produced by ;Portwood Furniture, UK. This classy credenza is a striking piece from the 1950s and has been stunningly restored. With asymmetrical design and copper drawer pulls the cabinet is made from wonderfully contrasting mahogany and Indian Laurel wood. There is plenty of storage, with five drawers and cabinet space it sits on its original tapered legs making it a beautiful piece of furniture.
The original labels are no longer present, we can however confirm their authenticity. The attribution is supported by archival documentation, period catalog references, and multiple documented examples of the same model offered by reputable dealers and auction houses. The design, construction details, dimensions, materials, and identifying characteristics are consistent with known examples produced by the attributed maker.
