This geometric Sommerso glass vase was produced in Murano, Italy, during the 1970s and exemplifies the sculptural approach to glass design characteristic of the period.
Crafted using the Sommerso technique, the vase features layered clear and yellow brown glass, creating depth and a refined interplay of color. The faceted form and architectural lines reflect the influence of designers such as Flavio Poli, whose work helped define modern Murano aesthetics.
Both decorative and collectible, the vase stands as a refined example of Italian art glass from the late twentieth century.
Condition is good vintage, with a small chip on one corner and visible wear to the metal ring surrounding the opening, consistent with age.
