This ominous painting presents a view of a landscape out of a cave like location. The distant mountains are set beneath an unfamiliar orb, possibly a celestial body. The palette of color use is intriguing in it’ blues, greys and purples. The painting is signed with initials in the lower right and dated 1973. The painting is executed in oil on canvas.
