The rectangular frame is richly carved with a continuous border of delicate florals, scrolling acanthus, and foliate ornament, punctuated with Greek key accents at the corners. Surmounting the frame is a finely carved classical urn crest, draped with symmetrical garlands, symbolizing abundance and harmony. Mirror plate: 13.25" H x 12" W and displays desirable age-related patina that attests to its authenticity and history. The warm, time softened gilding enhances the sculptural depth of the carving.
