This jug is called a "Haystack Jug" and has a capacity of 2 gallons. The jug has several lead oak stamps confirming its official capacity. Made of red copper, heavily used and with a beautiful, weathered patina. It dates from the late 19th century. A very characterful and historic object. 32 cm high, 35 cm wide, 29 cm diameter. See less
