Midcentury modern floor lamp featuring three adjustable cylindrical shades, attributed to Gerald Thurston for Lightolier. The lights are translucent plastic and aluminum with faux-wood accents.
The pole is brown enameled metal and the base is chrome. A classic midcentury design statement.
Takes 3 standard-base bulbs. The lamp has a 3-way switch so you can turn on one, two, or three bulbs.
We replaced the main wire with new cord and a polarized plug.
On one of the plastic shades, there is slight discoloration, apparently from a hot incandescent bulb resting against it for too long, and the finish is peeling in the area around the switch - see photos.
