This is a highly decorative Victorian parlor chair, featuring:
• Elaborate hand-woven scrollwork panels with bead accents
• Dramatic fan-shaped crest back
• Bentwood arms and skirt
• Original woven seat and structure
• Beautiful warm honey patina, consistent with age
• Tight, uniform weaving and excellent craftsmanship throughout.
This chair retains its original finish and has not been painted or refinished, which is highly desirable to collectors. Construction is solid, with no structural repairs observed. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
