Parker Panttila (Brooklyn, New York 1924-2002) watercolor on board entitled, "Passion Eclipsing Enlightenment Don Juan.'
Surrealist in style, evoking the symbolists like Gustav Klimt, whose works were also marked by eroticism.
Along with being a proficient artist in many mediums (outsider sculpture / found object art and drawing), Panttila was also known for making his own frames, each carefully designed and crafted to suit the piece. The frame is original to the work.
