This is a very large footed blue cut to clear vase on a clear base. The base is marked as shown and I’m not exactly sure what it says. Lorus or Loruu-either way, I am still researching the maker. The vase is oval shaped and cut to clear on both sides. One side has a large cut to clear peacock design. The other has a flower or some circle and leaf shapes. The base is clear and has two chips on the corners-one of which is shown.
The entire vase is 13 5/8 inches tall. The actual vase is closer to 10.00 inches tall and is 7.00 inches wide and 4.00 inches deep. Weight is six pounds, ten ounces.
The vase is lovely. The blue glass is thick and solid and the cuts are sharp and symmetrical and the peacock is a bit of surprise. This is a substantial vase, and it could go on to become a family heirloom.
Sorry, but shipping will be rather expensive due to the size and weight.
There are no chips, cracks, or other damage other than the two chips on the base.
