The Re-Trouvé chair collection by EMU was designed in 2005 by Italian designer Patricia Urquiola. This makes the Re-Trouvé chairs around 19 years old as of 2024.

Urquiola’s design for Re-Trouvé was inspired by vintage 1950s iron furnishings, blending traditional wire design with a modern twist. These chairs are known for their intricate, decorative metalwork and durability, suited for both indoor and outdoor use.
