An adorable English made ceramic Beswick Cottage Ware Butter or Cheese Dish. Circa 1930s-1950s. Maker's stamp on both pieces. This charming dish, part of the Beswick Cottage Series line of pottery, features a 7.5" saucer with a cottage (Hobbit style) cover. A well-crafted and hand painted pottery piece in shades of brown, tan and light green. An enchanting dish for use, display or added to a collection.
