A delightful glazed ceramic bottle with a satin finish, featuring a central bas-relief decoration depicting a pair of children and flowers on the back, in true Art Deco style. Dating to around 1920, it was made in Germany by the Goebel factory, founded by Franz Goebel, who created a huge series of ceramic sculptures inspired by drawings by Maria Innocentia Hummel. Our bottle bears the first Goebel trademark under the base, making it one of the factory's earliest productions. Furthermore, the shape of our item is among the rarest with this type of bas-relief decoration.
