Important and sculptural picture frame produced by Barovier & Toso, Murano, dated 1938. A rare and refined example of early 20th-century Venetian glassmaking, where technical mastery and elegant restraint converge in a timeless decorative object. The substantial frame is realized in thick torchon glass, characterized by its continuous twisted texture, creating a vibrant play of light and shadow along the softly rounded perimeter.
