The front of this practical Biedermeier writing chest features a beautiful, continuous walnut veneer that extends across all four drawers. By folding out the first drawer panel, the chest can be transformed into a writing desk. This chest is clean, sturdy, and in very good original condition. The drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked with a key. This is a wonderful original piece from the Biedermeier period. See less
