Office or home desk, arco model for olivetti synthesys in the rare small dimension (cm 140 lenght).
historic piece of italian design from the 60s designed by the bbpr studio in different versions.
condition: as you can see from the photos, the overall condition is quite good and the desk is aesthetically pleasing.
the top is covered in plastic/vinyl and shows signs of wear, especially along the edges: there are scratches, small cuts, and missing material. The plastic corners have some slight defects (see detailed photos).
the painted metal frame has scratches and some paint losses near the legs and on one side, as shown in the photo.
2 of the 4r plastic feet have been modified to allow the desk to rest against the back wall (normally, the feet protrude somewhat from the top, which prevents it from being placed against the wall).
the chest of drawers remains in quite good condition; it has a hole on the right side that likely housed an additional lock. This piece has an attribution mark,
