Details: Kai Kristiansen (b. 1929) apprenticed in cabinetmaketing and then enrolled at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he studied under Kaare Klint. He designed continuously for decades for many of the most prominent Danish manufacturers. This vanity with original triptych mirror have been professionally restored. The glass and piece shows signs of wear. Like many Kristiansen pieces, it is unmarked but is verified through primary source documentation, measurements, and design details.
