The chairs’ design blends natural materials with a modern, organic style, intended for indoor use rather than just a porch or patio. Fine quality rattan frames are accented with bamboo as well as rawhide strap work bindings reinforcing the joints. This artisan craftsmanship is a signature of the McGuire brand, founded by John and Elinor McGuire in San Francisco in 1948, and now part of the Baker Interiors Group.
