The chairs’ design blends natural materials with a modern, organic style, intended for indoor use rather than just a porch or patio. Fine quality rattan frames are accented with bamboo as well as rawhide strap work bindings reinforcing the joints. This artisan craftsmanship is a signature of the McGuire brand, founded by John and Elinor McGuire in San Francisco in 1948, and now part of the Baker Interiors Group. Chocolate (which photographed gray!) corduroy upholstered backs and seat cushions provide comfort for lingering long at the table.
