A Antique Blue Transfer Decorated Pearlware Covered Vegetable Dish, “Wild Rose” Pattern, Circa 1830’s
Possibly made by Spode, circa 1820-1830's
Blue transfer decorations over a pearlware body. We know the pattern to be "Wild Rose" as we have handled many pieces in this particular pattern. Never have we seen a covered vegetable with a lion shaped lid handle. Very nice piece of pottery.
Size: 11 1/2” by 10”, and 7” tall
Condition: Excellent overall preserved condition. Minor use and wear marks associated with age/use. No chips or cracks.
