A famous and classic French image of people strolling the beautiful street of Paris. Historic colorful buildings, flower vendors, the bright red windmill of the Moulin Rouge. The painting captures the moment of a sunny afternoon in Montmartre.
Burnett signed the painting in the bottom right corner in red.
Painted in the early 20th Century, Burnett emphasizes atmosphere and movement through expressive brushwork and a vibrant, luminous palette. The artist’s technique with paint application adds tactile texture and visual depth, bringing energy and character to the urban scene.
The painting is matted and presented in a custom wood frame. Excellent condition with rich colors. The frame does show slight imperfections, adding in a positive way to the overall look of the piece.
