The secretary desk likely dates from around 1840 and is probably of German origin.

The secretary desk consists of two/three parts: upper, middle, and lower sections.
The secretary desk is not disassemblable and is a single piece.
Condition:
Original antique in good condition for its age, with signs of wear,
partially replaced, damaged, with missing pieces, shrinkage cracks, and old restoration (see photos). The piece is not actively infested with woodworm. Photos are part of the auction .
