A sculptural British studio pottery raku vessel, dating to the late 20th century. The piece has a rounded globular form and is finished in an off-white crackle glaze, accented by a bold vertical cobalt-blue band with dark, smoke-carbonised edges created during the raku firing process.
The surface displays characteristic crackling and tonal variation inherent to raku pottery. The base is left unglazed and bears an incised potter’s mark, indicating studio origin, though the maker remains unidentified. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer
