A magnificent basket vase or emptier, embellished with floral garlands in light bas-relief on the central handle and along the entire rim, featuring classic early 20th-century German color schemes in various shades of blue, in a quintessential Art Deco style. Made of vitrified majolica by German ceramist Wilhelm Peter August Sus for the Karlsruhe factory, it dates to the early 20th century. Under the base is the manufacturer's mark in underglaze blue and the catalog number.
