Appears to be formed from brownish red … Read more A small ancient terracotta statuette of a seated woman, possibly greek or roman. Appears to be formed from brownish red clay with no visible glazing or other finish, this figure has a matte finish. A portion of the lower legs are missing, and there is a repaired crack across the upper leg portion. The repair seems to have taken place long ago. This is displayed in photographs. The repair is stable with no movement through that area. The hands seem to be molded into the legs. The books serving as her seat are not included, but for sale separately. See less
